New Team Member

New Team Member – July has seen the addition of a new team member at Nuttall Packaging. Lee Barrett has joined us in a technical role, he will be learning how to apply his skills to our design software and CAD table. He will be assisting customers on the phone with design based jobs, producing samples and moving on to visiting customers with our sales team to offer a face to face design aspect to our sales team. We are pleased to have Lee at Nuttall Packaging and he has already proved to be a quick learner and very customer focused.

New Customers – As well a new member of staff we have also welcomed several new customers, we are grateful for the business and look forward to offering our excellent quality and service to you. Our previous blog entry highlighted eBay Sellers and some of the new customers are those with eBay shops. We can offer a like for like price on your existing box, but as we are a manufacturer we can help with Royal Mail ‘friendly’ packs, courier size packs or a box that is custom made to the dimensions required by your products. Just tell our sales team what works best and we will give you a competitive price.

New Equipment – At Nuttall Packaging we are focused on getting deliveries out on time, to speed up processing time in our warehouse we have invested in a new hand held scanner. With the simple scan of a barcode, pallets are booked into the warehouse as ‘finished goods’ and
booked out for delivery as the vehicle is being filled. Quick, simple and accurate, this replaces a computer based manual input system so not only does it help reduce input time and the risk of keyboard error, it also allows our warehouse staff to book jobs in and out ‘on the go’.

New Month – We are almost at the end of July and the weather has delivered plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures, but it hasn’t slowed down our customers with lots of orders coming in, or our production team who have been busy in the factory delivering another excellent month. With August on the doorstep we hope that the sunshine, good weather and of course the orders keep going.
